Acceptable use policy

You may use your server only for lawful purposes. You may not use it for, or to help anyone with, any of the following:

• Sending bulk or mass email of any kind, including opt-in email marketing, or running an open mail relay. This is a strict rule, and breaking it can result in added charges of $250 plus $5 per complaint.
• Forging or misrepresenting message headers.
• Infringing copyright, trademarks or other rights, including software piracy, or violating anyone's privacy.
• Child sexual abuse material or other obscene material. We report child sexual abuse material to law enforcement.
• Accessing systems without permission, or preparing to, including port scanning.
• Spreading viruses or malware, flooding, mail bombing or denial of service attacks, or distributing tools designed for these.
• Fraud, pyramid schemes, or other illegal activity.
• Running CamFrog software.

Heavy processor use

Servers share processor time fairly. Video encoding, cryptocurrency mining or nodes, and other sustained heavy processor use aren't allowed.

What happens if you break this policy

We may remove content, block traffic, suspend or end your service, charge you any penalties we incur because of your use, and share information with the authorities when the law requires it. If you resell access to your server, you're responsible for what your own users do.
