Terms of service
Draft for the store owner: have a lawyer review this page, add your legal business name and governing law, then remove this note.
The service
SlayHost sells virtual servers by the month. Your use of a server must follow these terms and our acceptable use policy.
Your account
Keep your login details safe. You're responsible for everything done through your account and on your servers, including securing them and keeping your own backups.
Payment and renewal
Servers are paid for one month in advance. We send a renewal invoice before each due date, and you pay it with one of the methods offered at checkout. If a renewal isn't paid, your server is powered off 3 days after the due date, and it and its data are deleted from 14 days after the due date.
Refunds
Payments are not refundable unless the law requires it, or we fail to set up a server you paid for. Bitcoin payments can't be reversed by the payer.
Cancelling
You can cancel from your dashboard at any time. Your server runs until the end of the period you've paid for, and then it and its data are deleted.
Suspension and termination
We can suspend or end your service without notice if you break these terms or the acceptable use policy, if we receive a valid abuse complaint, if a payment is disputed or reversed, or if our infrastructure provider requires it. Prepaid fees aren't refunded in these cases.
Availability and data
The service is provided as is. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or that data will never be lost, so keep your own backups. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the previous month, and we aren't liable for indirect losses or lost profits.
Your responsibility for claims
You agree to cover our losses, including legal fees, from claims caused by your use of the service or by your breach of these terms.
Changes
We may change these terms or our prices. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
